Shiraz sourced entirely from the Sparrows vineyard in Mt. Torrens in the northern Adelaide Hills, a vineyard with which The Other Right works exclusively. The site is comprised of 15 year-old vines, south-facing, planted on sandy loam, red clay, and granite bedrock soils. Not like any Shiraz you've ever seen: 10.9% alcohol--blackberries and hay bales, spiced caramel and vanilla beans. This is so far away from the heat-blasted, opaque Shiraz of the '90s in Oz, and we're very happy for it. The cuvée name 'Hearts Will Repair,' per winemaker Alex Schulkin, “expresses a hope for bright days to come.”

Scar of the Sea, located in San Luis Obispo, California was founded in 2012 and is owned and run by Mikey and Gina Giugni, who also own Lady of the Sunshine. Influenced by the ocean, their wines and ciders showcase the beautiful maritime terroir of the Central Coast of California.

Scar of the Sea is made up of ten different vineyards and works with many local farmers each highlighting the land and farmers' approach through sustainable and organic farming practices and as little intervention in the cellar as possible.
