Shipments only containing objects & merchandise

Objects and non-alcoholic products ship for a flat rate of $9 to all US continental states.

Orders above $250 are shipped for free to all US continental state.

Shipping rates to Hawaii and Alaska are calculated based on carrier rates.

 

 Shipments containing wine, spirits, sake or cider

We currently offer shipping to 45 states. We unfortunately cannot ship to Mississippi, Kentucky, Utah, Arkansas, Alabama or any address outside of the United States.

 

We offer tiered flat rate shipping based on quantity of bottles

$15 for 6 bottles or less
$25 for 7-12 bottles
$35 for 13-24 bottles
$50 for 24+ bottles

Shipping rates to Hawaii and Alaska are calculated based on carrier rates.

We also offer a 2-Day Air shipping option at checkout that will be calculated based on your shipping address. Note that orders are shipped at the next business day.

We not do not currently offer ice-pack or temperature controlled shipping options. If you are concerned about heat or frost damage but would like to ship your wine immediately, we do offer 2nd day air at checkout.  Please be advised that deliveries will not be held despite possible low or high temperatures in your area. Your purchase confirms the authorization of the immediate arrangement of delivery. To hold deliveries, please make a note when placing the order.

 

Free local delivery to Westchester & Putnam

We offer free local delivery to entire Westchester county on orders above $150 and to Putnam county on orders above $200. We currently delivery on Monday to Saturday.

For local customer we also offer store pickup when checking out. Orders are typically processed and packed within an hour and we will email you once your order is ready with instructions for curbside pickup.

 

Requirements for all forms of shipping, delivery, pickup or in-person purchase

You must be at least 21 years of age to purchase wine. Adult signature is required.

By placing your order you have represented to Folkways that you are at least 21 years of age. All alcoholic beverages that Folkways arranges for delivery or shipping on your behalf must be received and signed for by an adult of legal drinking age.

 

Important Notice

Due to federal and state regulations, all wine deliveries must be received by an adult 21 years of age or older. An adult must be physically present to sign for the wine delivery. Federal regulations also make it illegal to deliver wine to post office boxes.

Shipments are sent with ground service and typically takes between 2-10 business days. 

Third-party carriers will make three delivery attempts. If your package is returned to Folkways, an additional charge may apply to re-deliver your order.

 

Place of Sale

Title to, and ownership of, all wine passes from seller to buyer in the State in which the sale occurs, and the buyer takes all responsibility for the wine being transported from the state of sale to the buyer's selected destination. By placing an order, the buyer authorizes the seller to act on the buyer’s behalf in arranging for transportation of the wine at the buyer’s direction. Alternatively, the buyer may choose to pick up the wine at the seller’s location or make independent delivery arrangements. Sales tax will be applied based on the seller’s location. Seller makes no representation as to the legal rights of anyone to deliver or import any wines, alcoholic beverages or other goods into any state. The buyer is solely responsible for the transport of wine and other goods purchased and for determining the legality and the tax/duty consequences of having the wine and other goods delivered to the applicable destination.
