Yes, we do! Orders can easily be placed on our website here. Simply add whatever you’d like to cart, and once paid you’ll receive a confirmation email as well as tracking information.  

Is the wine you were thinking of out of stock or unavailable anywhere else? Let us know by clicking the “request restock” button or sending us an email at hello@folkwayswines.com , we’d be happy to see what we can do to get your request met. 

We offer tiered flat rate shipping based on how many bottles you buy, so for 6 bottles or less, you’ll only pay $15 of shipping no matter where you're shipping to. The other tiers are as follows:

$25 for 7-12 bottles

$35 for 13-24 bottles

$50 for 24+ bottles

Shipping rates to Hawaii and Alaska are calculated based on carrier rates.

We unfortunately cannot ship to Mississippi, Kentucky, Utah, Arkansas, Alabama

No! Objects and non-alcoholic products ship for a flat rate of $9 to all US continental states.

Yes, if you’re nearby, you can skip shipping and swing by the shop. Just select “Pick up in store” at checkout.

We offer free local delivery to all of Westchester county on orders over 150$, and to Putnam county on orders over 200$. For orders under 150$, delivery costs a flat 15$. 

Deliveries go out Monday through Saturday, usually within 24-48 hours. Our customer service team will be in touch to coordinate the best times. Orders above $250 are shipped for free to all US continental states.

We do not currently offer ice-pack or temperature controlled shipping options. If you are concerned about heat or frost damage but would like to ship your wine immediately, we do offer 2nd day air at checkout.  Please be advised that deliveries will not be held despite possible low or high temperatures in your area. Your purchase confirms the authorization of the immediate arrangement of delivery. 

To hold deliveries, please make a note when placing the order.

We typically ship within 2 business days. If you order over the weekend, expect your bottles to start their journey the following week

Most orders arrive within 1–7 business days once shipped, depending on where you live.

Yes, we offer 5% off a half case of wine (6 bottles) and 10% off a full case (12 bottles) Wines can of course be mixed and matched. Discounts are automatically applied at checkout. 

Our case discounts only apply to wine, sake, dessert wine and cider. Case discounts cannot be applied towards spirits. 

Hosting a crowd? Larger discounts are possible for weddings, holiday parties and more, reach out to hello@folkwayswines.com to coordinate. 

We host one sale a year, announced exclusively to our subscriber list. It can happen at any time, so make sure you sign up to be in the know.

We focus on small producers, wine, spirits and objects that are made by people, not factories. From wine makers driven only by nature's laws to artisans hand painting each vessel, we seek products that reflect craft and intentionality at every level. 

We try to shine the light on lesser known regions and bottles, producers that value place and tradition over big brand recognition. In addition to prioritizing farming that's healthy and thoughtful, most of what we have in the shop will be organic, if not biodynamic, with little to no added preservatives and occasionally, no intervention at all! 

By definition, a folkway is a mode of thinking, feeling, or acting common to a given group of people; especially: a traditional social custom, like drinking to celebrate or touching your glass to the table after toasting. 

To us, it’s about the way people gather, make and share traditions and rituals. We see wine, spirits and the objects we enjoy them with as part of that cultural fabric.

We use biodegradable and recyclable pulp and cardboard for shipping wine and spirits. For those extra breakable materials we do on occasion use bubble wrap. 

We do! You can create an account simply by clicking the log-in icon at the top right hand corner of our website. If you’ve already placed an order online, an account will automatically be created for you. 

Points are earned with every wine and spirits purchase. Objects, books and table top items don’t count towards points. Your points can be redeemed for anything in the shop, your choice!

We do, starting at 25$ up to 300$. Select the amount and the option to “send as gift”  to fill in recipient details as well as add a personal note! 

Prefer more of an analog touch? We also offer personalized printed gift cards that can be addressed and mailed directly to the recipient of your choice. Physical gift cards incur an additional 6$ postage fee.

We supply a curated selection of wines tailored to your tastes and budget as well as glassware, ice and ice buckets. We’ll help you pull together everything so you can focus on the fun. 

Glassware, ice, and ice buckets begin at 1.25 per glass. Pricing may vary depending on the number of guests and specific needs. 

Yes, with private events you will receive case and volume discounts, plus 15% off and 3% loyalty credit!

Most events are held at our Croton Fall shop at 3 front street, croton falls, ny. Occasionally, events might be off site with local partners. 

Most of our events are completely free to attend, simply walk in and enjoy. Some of our specialized tastings or pairing dinners may have a fee per person depending on the event. 

For free events, RSVPS aren’t required. For ticketed or capacity limited events, advance registration may be necessary. Details will be included either way in the event listing!

Yes, and we love to do it! Weddings, galas, fundraisers and other large gatherings, let us take some of the pressure off and help create a thoughtful wine list that fits your vision, menu and budget. 

We’ll consult with you, or your planner if you have one, to understand the size and style of your event then put together a tailored proposal. You can start the process here or emailing us at hello@folkwayswines.com

  • Hours → Open 7 days a week, Monday through Saturday from 11-8pm. On Sundays, we are open 12-7. 
  • Holiday Closures → We are closed on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.

Though rare, bottles do sometimes get damaged in transit. Please inspect your package upon its arrival. If your shipment is damaged or missing items, please contact us immediately and provide photos of the shipping box and broken items so we can file a claim.

Please note we cannot always guarantee a replacement due to inventory, but we will do our best to replace your items.

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. Returns incur a $9 shipping fee.

We  cannot accept returns on any consumable  products. We also do not accept returns on gift cards or final sale items. 

Outside of that, to return an item, it needs to be in the same condition you received it, unopened, unused,, with tags attached and in the original packaging. Please also have your receipt or proof of purchase handy.

To start a return, you can contact us at hello@folkwayswines.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
