Operating for four generations, Akaki Kvirikashvili’s family winery was established in 1940 by Ivane Kvirikashvili in Rokhi, a village in Imereti, western Georgia. Their wine, crafted from Tsolikouri Melko and Tsolikouri Bazaleti grapes (Yellow & Green Tsolikouri), showcases the centuries-old indigenous variety of Imereti. The unique soil of Imereti imbues the wines with freshness and minerality. Cultivated without herbicides or pesticides, the family vineyard continues their traditional winemaking with a modern touch.
