Based in San Luis Obispo, California, Mikey & Gina Giugni make some of the Central Coast's most elegant, site-driven Pinot Noirs. This bottling is drawn from Mikey's own Bassi Vineyard Pinot Noir vines in San Luis Obispo Coast, California's newest AVA (and one that Mikey and Gina helped to get recognized!). This wine has dusty red fruit, medium weight, and beautiful aromatics coming from partial whole-cluster ferment and restrained use of sulfur. A great example of oceanic Cali Pinot.
