After two decades of enological consultation at top Bordeaux châteaux, Bénédicte and Mathieu Huguet, started their no-sulfur-added, natural wine project in 2019. Based in Bordeaux with vineyards in Saint-Emilion, they work their two plots leased from one of their biodynamically certified clients. Expression Calcaire 14 is made from old Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon vines aged for 20 months in barrels. No additives, including sulfites, are used. It is a wine of great purity, intense and fresh, deep, balanced, with ripe, fine tannins and superb fruit. Remarkable!
