Old vines of Gamay vinified by a producer who works with both Burgundian and Jura varieties and terroirs. Violet tone and nose, a Gamay definitely on the lighter side of things and less rough-and-tumble than many of them you'll find farther south in the Beaujolais. Graphite, purple flowers, light-to-medium body, fine tannin. Red that will reward oxygen and taste great with roast chicken, potatoes, eggplant, etc.
