One of our favorite makers of Lambrusco and proof that this category of wine doesn't have to be sickly sweet, dessert-esque nonsense. Dry, complex, with dark black fruit and intense peppery and herbal notes, boasting a finish like a rock quarry. One of our favorites and a standard-bearer for red sparkling in Emilia, to be sure. Do like they do in Modena and pair with plates of prosciutto and Parmigiano.
