Poggiosecco is located in the hills of Montalbano, Tuscany; was established in 1967; and was one of the first members of the Consorzio del Chianti. In 2001, Poggiosecco went through a restructuring and converted to organic farming. Full-bodied, robust Tuscan red with lots of purple and black fruit notes.
