Paraschos is a family farm based in the hills of Gorizia, technically in Italy but immediately on the Slovene border, where the Paraschos brothers also have vineyards in the Goriška Brda. 'Kai' is their 100% Friuliano, a salty, elegant, fuller-bodied white wine with notes of dried honey and beeswax. It's a bottling of a single vineyard of the variety planted in 1936 in San Floriano; the wine is fermented and rests in large Slavonian oak for two years before bottling. Majestic Italian-Slovenian white wine.
