For Stergio Papras, the organic movement isn’t a trend he is hopping on but rather one he was part of starting. He finally was able to certify his vineyards in 1990 and while his most famous wines are based on the Black Muscat of Tyrnavos he also continues to experiment with many grapes including native varietal Roditis. This orange wine is named for the Pleiades, nymphs associated with the stars, and an apt name for this wine from the slopes of the highest mountain of Greece. 30 days of skin contact lends a lot of texture and minerality, but there's plenty of brightness to balance it out. Excellent with seafood or salty cheeses!
