100% Sangiovese drawn from 30 year-old vines, this is a pretty Chianti Classcio from a genuine terroir in the appellation, the village of Greve—it's a place well-known for its special mix of limestone soils with a mix of clay and 'galestro.' Fermented and aged in concrete, it's a fresh-but-classical representation of this appellation, where many of the wines that go by this name are industrial and anonymous. Perfect summertime red for those that don't drink rosé!
