'Fotinos,' or 'bright,' is Domaine Myrsini's only cuvée, a natural and fuller-bodied white wine that is characterized by this producer's signature blend of ruggedness and finesse. The white varieties, all Cycladic natives, are vinified separately with no maceration and only gentle pressing, then blended together to express an island wine that's far more intense than the cheap, filtered, yeasted stuff you may have drank on Crete or Santorini on vacay. Elegant texture, but some rocky rusticity remains. Gorgeous stuff, especially if you're tired of the same-old white wines.
