50 assorted sheets of Carta Varese decorative paper.

2.95 × 4.45 inches. Carta Varese is a traditional Italian decorative paper with a history dating back to the 17th century. Originally produced in the Veneto region, these richly patterned papers draw on Renaissance motifs once used to decorate chests, boxes and everyday household objects.

Printed in Florence, each design is produced through an elaborate multi-pass printing process, with individual colours applied separately to create the distinctive depth, clarity and richness of the patterns.

Made from 100 gsm ivory paper that is uncoated and acid-free, Carta Varese is as practical as it is beautiful. A paper worth keeping close, whether for wrapping, bookbinding, correspondence, collage or simply adding a little character to the everyday.

“Wine Shop That’s Worth the Trip”

"Folkways is Spectacular! They are all highly customer focused, and incredibly knowledgeable. They carry interesting wines and spirits, things that are very hard to find elsewhere. (And if they don't have it they'll get it for you.)"

- Walter H.
