Hugging the Monterey Bay, this is a part of CA that has all the right things to make nuanced and elegant wines: sun but not too much, elevation, proximity to the water. Megan Bell of Margins makes wine throughout different overlooked vineyards in California, but her love is centered on this site that she farms organically and by hand with owner Larry Makjavich. Elegant, restrained Pinot Noir, with a touch of brambly black cherry.
