A Portuguese sparkler made by one of the country's most accomplished winemakers, Luis Pato, whose family has been making wine in the region since at least as far back as the 18th century. This is made principally from the rare grape 'Maria Gomes' (also called Fernão Pires outside of Bairrada) revered in the region for its aromatic and spicy character. White fleshy notes interplay with quince, jasmine, and yellow plum. Pato uses the Champagne method to create this lovely, dry bubbly.
