From Gilles Azzoni’s high-quality, reliable label Le Raisin et L’Ange in the Ardêche. Grenache & Merlot, vinified separately but both with carbonic maceration, then  blended together after ferment. Aged in stainless, no filtration or additives, a juicy, fruited, delicious wine coming from the sticks - joyful as the chubby li’l cherubs on the label. Not one about which to think too hard, despite it being from serious vineyards and a very good winemaker; this a good red for hot days or to throw on ice at the beach.
