An outrageously pretty rosé from one of the most stirring natural winemakers in the south of France and Languedoc more specifically, Anne-Marie Lavaysse of Domaine de Gimios. Her biodynamic wines do not have peer: soft, subtle, and shimmery, without lacking depth and substance; they feel somehow both ethereal and also substantial when smelling and drinking them. No exaggerations! This still rosé from Lavaysse’s old-vines farm is a stirring mix of local varieties: Cinsault, Alicante, Grenache, Carignan, Aramon, and Muscat Blanc à Petits Grains — all these give a sign of orange peel, wildflower, bing cherries, red hard candies. Really singular.
