Blandine Floch of Le Chat Huant is a passionate young winemaker just setting out in the Loire with her own project, despite having practiced winemaking and viticulture since 2011. 2021, however, was an intensely difficult vintage for all vignerons in the Loire; due to terrible climate and very low yields, Blandine bought some organic fruit from the Gard region to bolster her production for the year. Despite this warm southerly fruit, this bottle is fresh, easygoing, and an excellent table red, sure to please a wide range of palates.
