This equal-parts cocktail is said to have been invented in the Detroit Athletic Club by popular Vaudeville monologuist Frank Fogerty, who frequented the club and would often perform a closing monologue after his routines - thus ensuring that this cocktail got the 'last word' each night. As with many cocktails of the era the Last Word fell into obscurity before being repopularized in Seattle in the early 2000s. The key ingredient here is Green Chartreuse, which together with gin, maraschino liqueur and lime juice imparts a bright and herbal flavor.

This bundle swaps out Faccia Brutto's Centerbe as a stand-in for increasingly rare and pricy Chartreuse, along with Branchwater Gin and Luxardo Maraschino Liqueur.
