'A-Grafo' means 'uncharted' in Greek: this cuvée name is way that Kontozisis communicates this certainly aren't the standard white wine to which you may have been exposed at weddings on Santorini or Mykonos. This Assyrtiko, through spontaneous whole-cluster fermentation and zero added SO2, shows the pure, fresh, textural character of the variety. It's unusually floral for this grape, with botanical and citrusy notes, but still retains the bracing acidity for which the grape is renowned. A beautiful example of mainland Assyrtiko!
