It takes just a moment upon opening to know there's something deeply special about Cécillon's intense Syrah sourced from organic grapes in the appellatin of Cornas. It's powerful, a little bit of a Clydesdale, full of cassis and black cherry, and it's sumptuous in texture. This wine isn't a hammer, though; it's nuanced too, showing the granite and earth that you want from Cornas, along with dried flowers and cured meat. Balanced and fine, it's very good young, but it'll improve over the next decade and more, too!
