A lovely expression of dry Riesling from a region of Austria not nearly as famous for this variety. Johannes Zillinger learned organic farming from his father, who converted the family winery to organics back in 1983, years before many were to consider this practice at all in vineyards. Now certified by Demeter as a biodynamic practitioner, Zillinger's wines are clean, fresh, and always have soft texture balanced with great acidity. This wine is the antidote to the one-note sweet Rieslings you may or may not have had from grocery stores in years past.
