The rare single-variety bottling from Gut Oggau of 100% Blaufränkisch, taken from a special single plot on limestone and slate which the winery decided years ago deserved to be highlighted solo. One of the more intense and meaty wines of the winery, while still having lots of lightness and finesse, it's a terrific rendering of one of Burgenland's most important varieties. Should please the 'normal' wine drinkers in your life if they're open to a medium-weight red, but in reality it's a really really special wine. We're lucky to have received a very small quantity!
