The highly anticipated 2024 release of Peregrine from Found North Distillery is a 21-year-old blend of 78% corn, 21% rye, and 1% barley, with components aged up to 25 years. To enhance mid-palate richness and soften the black pepper finish, the 24-year rye played a key role. A higher ratio of Cognac to new wood barrels added texture and viscosity. After three months of further maturation, all but one barrel were married, resulting in a vintage that is elegant, dynamic, and bold—an exceptional and stunning release from Found North.
