Oregon Pinot Noir isn't the only thing we should be drinking from the state: this Chardonnay by Brianne Day, sourced from 3 blocks in Eola Springs Vineyard, was spontaneously fermented in neutral barrels, then aged in French oak barrels. Notes of lemon curd, honeysuckle, and white flowers, with a bit of weight on the palate, but cleaned up nicely with minerality and acidity on the finish. A great example of Oregon's breadth and diversity of wine from a conscientious winemaker (Day is now approaching her eleventh year in production!).
