A blend of Carinyena Blanca, Negra, and Gris, plus Garnatxa Blanca and Gris, as well as some Moscatell d'Alexandria (whew! Those are some rare red, white, and pink babies). The winemaker Salvador's idea with this wine is "to pay tribute to all the native Empordà varieties recovered that we cultivate, in the same plot of new planting, building a wine with everything together." It's an homage to the old field blend vineyards that were formerly planted everywhere wine was made, where varieties were all interplanted and the idea of monoculture for wine grapes was a distant illusion. The wine is a lovely 'constellation' of all those different varieties together.
