In a few short years, Arianna Occhipinti has become one of the most respected winemakers in her native Sicily. Her Bianco (named SP68 for the highway that runs through her Vittoria vineyard) is fermented in concrete with just over two weeks of skin contact - this technically an ‘orange’ wine, but with a very light touch. Floral and perfumed on the nose, with pleasant layers of dried apricot, fresh herbs, and ocean spray. Highly versatile with food, even spicier cuisines - delicious!
