This Prohibition-era cocktail is a straightforward but beautifully deep combination of gin, maraschino liqueur, violet liqueur and lemon juice, and named for its color, reminiscent of the evening sky as seen from the window of an airplane. It was all the rage in the roaring 20s, but when the key ingredient - violet flower liqueur - became hard to find, the drink began to fade into obscurity. It's made a comeback recently though, and no wonder - it's floral, sour and complex, as well as simple to make!

Ingredients:
2 oz Greenhook Gin
½ oz Luxardo Maraschino Liqueur
¼ oz Rothman and Winter Creme de Violette
¾ oz lemon juice
Garnish: St Agrestis Amaro-Soaked Cherries

Combine ingredients in a shaker and shake with ice until well chilled. Double strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with cherry.

This bundle contains Rothman and Winter Creme de Violette, Luxardo Maraschino Liqueur and Greenhook Gin, plus St Agrestis Amaro-soaked cherries as a garnish.
