The name essentially means a toast "to us" in French — a toast between friends, and a perfect summary of what this wine is for. Andrea Calek is Czech-born, and has farmed his 5 hectares in Alba-la-Romaine completely chemical-free since 2007. His partner Stephana Nicolescu joined the project in 2016, and together they run one of the most honest small estates in the Ardèche. 'A Toi Nous' is Calek's most accessible red from the southern Ardèche: Grenache and Syrah, no sulfites, nothing added, nothing removed. A light bodied easy-drinker; texture and depth from the darker grapes, with a lick of freshness.
