A stirring red wine from the northwest of Spain, due south of Galicia and right on the border of Portugal. This is classic Spanish red grape Tempranillo, but instead of Rioja it's grown on Zamora's deeply sandy soils... The effect is mesmerizing. With several years of bottle age, this fully natural wine is mature, tasting like Old Spain in a good way - deep leather, old books, baked soil, and beautiful black fruit, but in no way is it missing life or freshness. Just a special bottle, one that makes us wish all countryside wines from Spain tasted this honest and satisfying.
