Sauvignon can be fun, fresh and fruity but it can also be elegant, complex and amazingly long-lived depending on how it is made and especially how it is grown. So it is for this first wine released by winemakers Simon and Lauren Sharpe under the label “A Thousand Gods” - a name taken from the Occaitain phrase “miladiou!” Meticulously farmed grapes are hand-picked and undergo wild fermentation, creating a textural and mineral-driven wine with notes of pear, white peach and lavender.
