Founded in 1992 by filmmaker Reudi Gerber, Sequerciani began as eight neglected hectares in Maremma, Tuscany. Gerber decided to revitalize the property, converting it to organic agriculture and making natural wines without any additives. Situated on rolling hills 200 meters above sea level and only 25 minutes from the sea, the vineyard not only makes wine but also olive oil, cereal from ancient grains, and sunflower oil. Sequerciani's rosé Pét-Nat is a Frizzante style blend of local red grapes including Sangiovese and Ciliegiolo, certified biodynamic, and hand picked at an early harvest for freshness. A very gentle bubbly rose, with flavors of juicy watermelon, black cherry, and ruby red grapefruit - definitely fruit forward, but finishes dry.
