Marco Sferlazzo's tiny-production rose-colored grappa, made from the Sicilian native red variety called Perricone. The fruit is grown in Camporeale (near Palermo) at 600m above sea level—this is high!—which gives the acidity necessary to balance out this otherwise very dark grape. Artisanal method of production on this spirit, with distillation in small boilers; then the spirit is aged for 18 months in steel before bottling.
