Made from some of the oldest plantings of Chardonnay in California planted in 1946 (second only to Napa), this Chardo is dry-farmed, pressed whole cluster and fermented naturally with native yeast. The result is a beautifully bright wine with strikingly fresh flavor, pure fruit, some deep spice and a lovely minerality. Classic California Chardonnay, with none of the oaky, fruity frou frou that you usually get from this appelation. Claire’s Chardonnay pairs wonderfully with roast chicken or pork - anything that allows these flavors to soar.
