The variety Zibibbo, or Moscato di Alessandria, is a Mediterranean native variety of big aromatics and bright fruit. This Zibibbo was fermented with 2 weeks' maceration on the skins; the result is a dry white wine with intense flavors running from candied citrus to spice to marzipan. A dramatic orange wine, but still fresh. Will pair well with Middle Eastern cuisines or north African: think spicy green sauces or roasted red peppers and nuts.
