Sagesse des Sols (French for 'Wisdom of the Soil') is run by Cathy and Fred Róger, covering about 20 hectares in the Loire Valley. After taking over Fred's family's estate back in 2020, the two quickly converted to organic practices with a focus on regenerative farming, and are now making pure and approachable wines with low intervention and minimal added sulfites. Their rosé, 'Une Bouteille à la Mer,' is a blend of Grolleau Noir, Grolleau Gris and Pineau d'Aunis - fresh, bright and energetic, perfect for a warm summer day!
