Kat of North Salem Provisions will lead a casual introduction to shucking your own oysters, with a little conversation along the way about sourcing, oyster farming, and the role oysters play in our local marine ecosystem.

We’ll be shucking oysters from Copps Island throughout the evening, served with mignonettes from North Salem Provisions, alongside three wines selected by Folkways. Come explore how salinity, acidity, texture, and place come together.
