Join us for an evening on Wednesday, December 2, 2026, at 6:30 PM with James Beard Ward-winning writer Tatajia Morell celebrating her memoir, Desire Feeds the Feast.
In this release, Morell traces a life shaped by hunger—for beauty, for love, for pleasure, and for belonging. From the electric excess of the late-’90s New York City club scene to Hollywood tables where she served celebrities, Tarajia moved through the world restless but hopeful, unsure of what would come next.
Throughout the evening, guests will enjoy small bites inspired by the book, and a tasting of thoughtfully curated wines selected by Folkways.
