This is the very first bottled spirit that Union Grove Distillery in Buffalo produced—distilled from apples sourced from a the Hubbell Family Farm orchard, only six miles from the distillery. This farm presses the apples in their antique apple press, which has been in service since the 1800's. The fermented cider is distilled together with the addition of wheat-based spirit. The vodka is named for one of the many mountain creeks in Arkville, NY. Proof that great vodka doesn't have to be made from potatoes and quadruple-distilled or what have you to taste great: neutral, clean, and nicely round on the palate.
