Pierre Arnold's light-bodied, shimmery Pinot Noir, from 40 year-old vines. Fermentation is around fifteen days in stainless steel, followed by the wine settling for 18 months in used Burgundy barrels. Straight as an arrow, clearly from the woods, but lifted and pretty. In other words, Pinot Noir as Cate Blanchett as Galadriel in Peter Jackson's LOTR.
