Hibiki’s “Japanese Harmony” is a complex expression from Suntory Whisky, using about a dozen malt and grain whiskies from all of Suntory’s distilleries: Yamazaki, Hakushu, and Chita. American white oak initially figures prominently, with a hint of Sherry cask will greet you on the finish. It is delicately and deliciously balanced between smokiness and sweetness, with notes of honey and clementine that make it excellent for sipping.
