San Bartolo mezcal is produced in the San Bartolo Yautepec valley in Oaxaca by fourth generation maestro mezcalero Valentin Martinez Lopez using 100% hand-harvested maguey Espadin. This bottle, Qiegolani, is roasted in an earthen pit over with black oak for several days and then aged in pine vats, giving it delicate herbal and fresh mineral notes with a particularly clean smoke.
