A delicious Dão blend of 50% Jaen (known as Mencía in Spain), 30% Touriga Nacional, and 20% Tinta Pinheira, from organic vineyards planted in granitic soils with some schist. The latter grape in this blend is an indigenous variety commonly used in port production called Tinta Pinheira, or Rufete, the same grape popular in the Castilla y León region of Spain. Rufia! is a ruffian, one who follows his or her own path. This wine is medium-weight, bright, and drinks with a lot of easy pleasure. Ideal dinner wine for cooler nights.
