Every year Pinhook releases a new bourbon and rye, each of which is connected to a promising young thoroughbred horse. The whiskey in each release is the best expression of their barrels at that moment in time, rather than crafting the exact same whiskey every year. Each bottling is unique: Vertical Series 8 Year True Single Barrel' is 75% corn, 20.5% rye, 4.5% barley, aged for eight years.
