The unique pieces at Manos Que Ven are made by renowned artisan Maestro José García Antonio, his wife Maestra Santa Reyna Teresita, their children José Miguel, Sara García, Reyna Esther, and son-in-law Jose Luis Reyes Martinez. Each vessel is carefully hand built then fired in a large brick kiln in their family studio.
Dimensions: 1.5” W x 2” H
Artisan: Sara García. Made in San Marcos Tlapazola, Oaxaca by the Mujeres del Barro Rojo (Women of the Red Clay)
Hand wash and air dry only. We don’t advise using a microwave or submerging the piece in cold water when warm. It is normal for clay to sweat at the beginning, if this happens, cure the piece by submerging it for 24 hours in saltwater. Avoid leaving the piece in water for more than three days, it could soften and break.
