Ocone is an old family-run estate in Sannio founded in 1910; in 2017 it was sold to a young local couple, the Vergonas, who've changed the winery's practices to organic farming and begun to introduce new life into the vineyards. This Falanghina is a fairly full-bodied iteration of the variety, lush, tropical, and robust. If you like full-bodied Chardonnay, this waxy Campanian bottle may be a great starting place for you to check out some of southern Italy's impressive white wines.
