Nibiru 'Gründstein' Riesling 2020

Nibiru is the biodynamically farming, thoughtful couple of Julia and Josef Schenter, who make gentle, expressive wines in the far northern reaches of the Kamptal; their home village is far away from the Hollywood stretch of vineyards in this region where the famous producers don't exactly encourage experimentation. This Riesling is soft, dusty, and dry, exhibiting more herbal components than fruit, while still having a pleasant white grapefruit and floral aspect on the palate. A great Riesling to try out if you're scared of them being sweet (they're not)!
