This release from NY Distilling Co. is a homage to M.C. Perry, the commandant of the Brooklyn Navy Yard (around 1941), and is the first 'Navy Strength' gin available in the US. A little bit of upstate wildflower honey, tasted early on the palate, belies its 57% ABV. Juniper, citrus & cinnamon follow before giving way to a slow burn. Very friendly gin for cocktails; try it in a gimlet.
