Forks and Knives is a release from Milan Nestarec out of Moravia, Czech Republic that we always look forward to drinking. Reminiscent of cider, with a gentle fizz, lively acidity and hints of apple, lemon myrtle, and peach candy, it redefines the notion of “everyday wine”.

Milan Nestarec

Milan Nestarec is located in Moravia, Czech Republic (the biggest wine-growing region in the Czech Republic) and is run by Milan with help from his family . Milan took over the vineyard from his father at only 16, and has now been running it for 17 years.

Milan is a big advocate for wine being a consumable art form, and Nestarec being more than just a winery.

Milan cultivates muller thurgau, gruner veltliner, neuburger, pinot blanc, blaufränkisch, pinot noir, and many other native grape varietals. He has been using organic practices since 2008, and hand harvests all of his fruit. In the cellar, he ferments only with native yeasts, does not add any sulfites, and does not filter his wines.
